Flatten vertices

 

Toolbar:  

 

Menu: CAD-Earth > Mesh > Mesh Explorer.

Mesh Explorer node:

 

Context Menu: Vertices > Flatten vertices

 

Command line: CE_MESHEXPLORER

 

CAD-Earth version: Premium.

 

Command description:

 

 

The Mesh Viewer will be opened, allowing you to specify points to define an area where the mesh vertices will be flattened. A temporary mesh will be created, and the vertices will be projected on this mesh to modify their elevation.

 

The prompts at the Mesh Viewer command line are as follows:

 

Select first polygon point:

Select next polygon point or [Undo]:

Select next point (ENTER to finish):

 

After concluding this command, a message will appear showing the total number of vertices flattened, and the command will restart to pick another area or you can press ENTER to finish:

 

(117) vertices flattened. Select first polygon point or [Undo](ENTER to exit):

 

Tips:

 

You can use this command to select ground points around vegetation or building areas to remove them flattening the vertices.

If you select the command to show contour lines in the Mesh Viewer before using this command, the contour lines will be automatically updated after flattening the vertices.
